Vintage 1997 Prada Red Velvet Platform Wedge Shoes Sandals Size UK 7 EUR 41

  
Designed by Miuccia Prada, these platform wedge sandals are from Prada's Spring 1997 Ready-to-Wear collection. They feature two thin (1/2 inch) straps across the toes and two thin (1/2 inch - 3/4 inch) ankle straps that criss cross in the back. The toe straps are joined/sewn together in the middle and the ankle straps are joined/sewn together at the cross. The ankle strap closes with a grey metal buckle and there are 3 holes for adjustment.

In red velvet, which Prada called "scarlotto" or scarlet, the straps are lined in beige and the footbed is in a matching red with the Prada stamp in gold letters. The soles are smooth black rubber. There is no box or size labelling but I believe this to be a UK 7 but please note the following measurements. (Measured across the sole of shoe).

Length from toe to heel: 26CM. The width varies from 5cm at the narrowest to 9cm at the widest. The space under the toe straps is about 3cm high. When strapped at the loosest hole, the ankle strap is 22cm all around. The platform wedge height is 8cm at back and 3cm at front. These shoes are in great condition but please view all the photos carefully.
