It is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual stainless steel mens/boys/unisex/ladies watch with a satin white original dial and original "folded" Oyster link bracelet. It has been appreciating in value for a half century and will only continue.

Model number 6551 serial 1581xxx c. 1966 the serial number has been mostly obliterated by years of contact with a thick leather band. You can still just make out the first and last numbers of the serial number. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted.

It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). At the time of the detailing the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1161 movement with sweeping seconds hand was inspected, it is running perfectly. The case, bracelet, and crystal were lightly polished to a scratch free shine and the link and lug tops satin refinished. The case measures 30 mm wide excluding the crown (it's a small sized mens watch intended for boys back in the day, looks great on ladies too). The winding crown is a genuine Rolex twin lock screw down crown with the Rolex logo.

The crown screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show no slipped tool marks. The band is its original vintage "folded" Oyster link stainless steel bracelet which will fit up to a 7 inch wrist without adding links. The bracelet is very "tight" for it's age (not worn out and sloppy in the links). The dial has never been refinished and is nearly mint with very light, even patina.

The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. Every watch comes with our sales receipt and Certificate Of Authenticity each with the watches serial number, model number and description stated.
