VINTAGE INUIT RED WOOL PARKA COAT HANDMADE - EMBROIDERED SEALS - CLIX ZIPPER 1070's. Beautiful Clean heavy duty Wool Parka Coat with embroidered Inuit images. Inuit figures with sled are applied on the bottom of the back of the coat and sleeves. Two Seals are on front. Heavy duty double-way CLIX ZIPPER.

Has a Faux Fur hoodie. Lining inside is in great shape. No Moth holes or bad smells. These jackets are very warm and highly sought-after. 100% made sometime in the 1970's.

CLIX Zippers originated in Canada during the mid-1930's. In 1963 a small UK factory was set up and proved very successful, so much so that, in November 1970, Lightning Fasteners bought the company and, from that point onward, heavy CLIX zippers featured on coats all through the 1970's.
